We had a pleasant stay with a very welcoming, huge guest room that was brightly decorated and airy. The breakfast was made to order with a good variety on the menu, making our mornings delightful as we prepared to explore a few steps away from Sheep on Sheep Street and the nearby Tara Antiques Centre.

We stayed here unexpectedly and loved the vintage charm and the cozy atmosphere in our room. It was nice to kick back with tea on the terrace and enjoy a relaxing stroll in the garden. The mattress could definitely use an upgrade, but it didn’t ruin our stay at all—bring your own pillow for extra comfort! ☕️

loved this cute little b&b, it’s super central in stow so easy to walk around. our room was spacious n decorated real nice with comfy bed. the breakfast was yummy, felt homey with a good selection. really friendly staff too, they helped us with where to go around the area. we were pleasantly surprised!

the mattress was old n squeaky, kept waking us up. also, no lift which made carrying bags a bit of a hassle.

My partner and I spent a cozy night here, enjoying a spacious room with an extra-large bed. The breakfast had its moments, though it could have been warmer. A cozy fire in the lounge would enhance the atmosphere. Don’t miss the delightful local scones!

Central location makes it easy to explore the town's charm on foot. The room had plenty of tea and coffee making facilities. A bathroom equipped with a spa bath for ultimate relaxation.

Unfortunately, cleanliness left much to be desired, with reports of dirty floors and unwashed dishes lingering in common areas. The bed’s mattress was quite squeaky, which disrupted sleep for some. Breakfast, while offered with a decent selection, didn't impress. mushy eggs and weak coffee seemed to be the norm rather than the exception. Parking options were limited, requiring a bit of a search for a spot, though the two-hour free period near the square was helpful. The lack of air conditioning meant warmer nights might not be so comfortable.

The cream tea for two fell short of expectations, lacking the quality of a previous experience elsewhere. The green tea served was bland, presented in a small bag rather than loose leaf. the ‘clotted cream’ tasted more like thick double cream without the expected texture. For those seeking a truly delightful afternoon tea, the previous old bakery place is a better choice.

My room, the Deluxe King or Queen Room, felt spacious and beautifully decorated, with a large bathroom that had modern touches. The staff greeted me warmly and provided great service during breakfast. There were options for dietary needs too, which was a pleasant surprise. the mattress on the bed was very old and squeaked loudly with every movement, which disrupted our sleep terribly. It felt uncomfortable and in need of replacement. Though I appreciated the effort to provide plenty of tea-making facilities, the tea brewed itself was quite weak. The cleanliness of communal areas also needed attention, as I noticed some dirty tables left uncleared during my stay.
